Guide How to remove PanzerGlass

There may arise situations that make you want to remove the screen protection from your device again after you have installed it. This may be because you want to replace it due to damage, or because you would like to have a different kind. PanzerGlass™ offers screen protectors for all devices and with many different features, created with the sole purpose of looking after your devices and you.

Will the screen protector break when I remove it?

No – all our screen protectors have a special anti-shatter layer, which means the screen protector stays in one piece when you remove it. So, you don’t have to worry about the glass shattering.

Can I use a PanzerGlass™ again?

Yes – the anti-shatter layer holds the screen protector together, which also means you can reinstall the glass if you wish. Maybe you’ve removed the screen protector to remove some dust and want to reinstall it afterwards, or maybe the screen protector didn’t sit quite right after the first installation attempt. No problem – your PanzerGlass™ product can withstand being taken off several times and the adhesive won’t lose its strength from being lifted off and put back on.

Regardless of your reasons for removing PanzerGlass™ from your device, we have created this video guide to show you how to remove the screen protector. In the video we will guide you through the process step by step, and you can also find other guides showing you how to remove dust and air bubbles from under your screen protector.

Step-by-step guide: How to remove PanzerGlass™

Step 1: To remove the screen protector, start by detaching the screen protector from your device. Gently slide your fingernail between the screen protector and the screen.

Step 2: Once you see the screen protector loosening, lift the glass off completely while holding it on the sides of the screen protector. Avoid turning the sticky side facing upwards or touching it with your fingers. This is to avoid dust settling or causing unevenness in the adhesive.

That’s it – you’ve removed the screen protector from your screen.

If you want to reinstall the same glass, you can do so right away. Use edges, speakers or sensors as pointers to attach it correctly.
